The 522nd essay has posted! Essay 1994 on 窟 (cave; den) is now available for purchase. Here's a preview:
Caves are meant for exploring, so it's fitting that 窟 as "cave" will prompt us to investigate unusual topics such as Chinese and French literature, a miscarriage of justice in Japan, and Spanish cave paintings.
