Heidi Cole is currently a copyeditor in the middle of Pennsylvania. However, she dreams of winning the lottery and escaping to Japan, where she'll live as a Visual kei (ヴィジュアル系) vocalist while running a livehouse (ライブハウス: a place to see live performances in Japan). She attends as many Japanese rock concerts as she can afford and has visited Japan to hone her 振り付け (ふりつけ: the hand movements that concert crowds use as they interact with music). Heidi has been known to spend hours trying to take the tiny pieces of a single kanji and weave them into a story to help learn the character. At present, Heidi's favorite character is 夢 (ゆめ: dream), and her favorite compound is 春夏秋冬 (しゅんかしゅうとう: spring, summer, autumn, and winter; the four seasons).
