Lutlam was born in Tokyo and brought up in Saitama Prefecture, just north of Tokyo. He majored in Mandarin at university but now feels more comfortable with English (not to mention Japanese). He learned English by repeatedly watching the sitcom Friends and by playing English-dubbed video games, such as Resident Evil for PlayStation, as well as through his work.
He loves talking to people from around the world and, although he has never lived abroad, he has traveled to several countries, including Greece, the Philippines, Hong Kong, the UK, and Australia. He enjoys learning languages, especially English and Japanese. Wait, Japanese? Yes, he knows there is still quite a lot to learn about it.
Lutlam is not his real name, but he would like to be called that on the Internet, as he prefers to remain anonymous. His favorite kanji is 家, because 家 (いえ: home) and 家族 (かぞく: family) are the two things that mean more to him than anything else in the world.
